Our office is open during the following hours, however we are available 24 hours/day through email, text and smartphone app. Please note that our schedule may change on holidays and during vacations.

APPOINTMENTS
Office visits are by appointment only. They are an important part of treatment and this time has been reserved specifically for you to speak with the doctor and receive treatment. Please arrive on-time so every patient can receive treatment in an efficient and timely manner. We strive to be on-time for your appointment.
In order to make remembering your appointment easier, we will send an email and text message reminder on the day before your appointment. You can confirm or cancel your appointment through these reminders. We are aware that last-minute unforseen events sometimes require missing an appointment and we appreciate your cooperation.
Please be aware that during the course of your child's orthodontic treatment some appointments will need to be scheduled during school hours. Typically these are longer appointments, including (but not limited to) getting braces on or taken off. Because we value a child's education we make every effort to limit these longer appointments. Most schools are aware of this and are very understanding. We will provide you with a school absence excuse form.
Because our treatment area is open-bay design, we need to be very careful to maintain every patient's privacy. We kindly ask that parents and family members remain in the reception area while the treatment is rendered on routine appointments for established patients. We welcome parents and guardians into private consultation rooms for new patients, young patients and for annual monitoring appointments. At any time during your child's appointment you wish to speak directly with our doctors, please let us know. Our doctors are always willing and available to addres any questions or concerns.
OFFICE CLOSURES
Throughout the year our office will close for various reasons. Most of these are planned and scheduled ahead of time, such as holidays and office vacations. There are some holidays and school vacation weeks that we remain open in order to minimize the amount of time kids will miss school.
Sometimes we need to cancel our day or close early unexpectedly, most often due to inclement weather. If you have an appointment on one of these rare days we will make every effort to contact you before your appointment time. Even when we are closed we are accessible via email and directly with our doctor's on their contact phone numbers.
ORTHODONTIC EMERGENCIES
While we do not expect you to have a true orthodontic emergency, we have a protocol in place to help you in case something unusual occurs. During normal working hours, please call our office and let us know that you are having a problem. We'll be able to determine if you need to be seen right away or if your issue can be addressed later at a more convenient time for you. If needed, we offer same-day emergency care appointments to make sure that the patient is comfortable. After-hour emergencies (evenings, weekend, holidays) are handled directly by our doctors via call or text. We do not have an impersonal answering service. The doctor's contact phone numbers are available by calling our office at any time.
